How do I Get Paid
PTR programs usually don’t pay by check. Payments are made by Paypal and/or E-gold. Paypal is usually preferred among the members, because a personal account does not charge any fee’s, making the service completely free. The ability to transfer funds directly from your online PayPal account to your bank account, makes doing business online a pleasure. Now over 100 million Paypal accounts.
In the U.S, PayPal account holders must be at least 18 years or older and have a debit/credit card or U.S. bank account. In (some parts of) western Europe, it is not required to verify your identity with a debt/credit card and/or bank account in order to open a personal account. A European unverified personal account has a sending- and withdraw limit of 1500 Euro. When either the sending limit or the withdraw limit has been reached, the account must be enrolled into the expanded use program by verifying the account with a creditcard.
PayPal however is not supported in all countries. Therefor E-gold comes in as the second payment processor in the PTR scene. E-Gold is an electronic currency, 100% backed up by real Gold. There are an estimated 3 million e-gold accounts of which a quarter is actively in use. Opening an account is free but E-gold charges a few cents fee for every transaction.
