Watch out for Scam PTR Sites

If you’re doing PTR, Watch out for the Scam sites !
In this post I will show you a list of known scam sites, but also teach you how to recognize one yourself. There are many PTR sites that never have the intention of paying, but by doing a little research it’s actually quite easy to see if they are for real.

First of all, never get into sites that claim to pay more then 2 cent per email. There may be some exceptional GPT programs paying 5 or up to 10 cents for an email, but these are usually the ones that also pay for Surveys and/or PTSU (Paid To Sign Up), sites like inboxdollars.com, they may send a 5 cent email every once in awhile. But generally, a regular PTR site doesn’t send emails over 2 cent, they simply cannot afford it.

Sustainability is an important condition for a PTR site to be able to pay it’s members. Have a look at this scam site and see how they are offering a 5 cent email to 94,200 members, costing only $9,99 for the advertiser. Talking about sustainability, this ad would cost the webmaster $4710, but of course they were never planning to pay this money.

Another example of a scam ptr site is 30dollarsmail.com. Have a glance at the program specifications on the main page, and I hope you recognize a scam where you see one. Although both sites are actually looking professional, you can easliy see that what they’re offering is too good to be true.

The two examples above are obvious scam sites, but it requires a little more research to ensure whether a sustainable looking site is paying or not. Here are some tips that may help you to recognize a non-paying / scam program.

  • Look at the advertising page of the particular program, and check to see if the ad prices are sustainable
  • Preform a Search in google and combine the name of the program with keywords like scam, scammer or scammed. If your search returned many results, you might be dealing with a scam site.
  • Look in some of the GPT forums, they often have sub folders where they list and discuss scam and not paying programs. For example the complaints folder on GetPaidForum.com and PTR Scam alert on MoneyMakerGroup.com

PTR scam sites are being blacklisted on many websites and forums:
netdolars.hit.bg scam list
getpaidforum.com scam list

hubpages.com - Non paying PTR site list
Volition.com - Ptr sites scam list

  1. I would to know about Lion-Mails.com. Is this site legit?

    Please help.

    Johnnie Graham

  2. Lion Mails is a scam

  3. dear sir,
I was a member of compactmails.com, fx-mails.com and justcashinc.com but these sites have vanished. please tell me y?

  4. hello hb,

I used to be a member of compactmails.com too if I remember correctly. I think this one was a scam site that looked like a very normal and sustainable ptr site, but they never paid a cent.

Some more sites that came for the same family:

    green-cash.com
    color-mail.com
    jade-mail.com
    gem-mail.com

Best thing to do in those situations is try to redeem for banner ads and dump the program when they run out. They usually process the banners because it will cost them nothing. Try to make the best out of the situation, and don’t forget to tell others that the site is not paying.

  5. Dear sir
are the “pleasant-mails.com” and “wonderful-mails.com” sites legit ?

    Please Help

  6. Hello Sam,
These two sites are Not legit.

Genuine PTR sites only pay a few cents, mostly even fractions of cents, for reading an email.

  7. Thank you Admin for your Reply relating to “pleasant-mails” and “wonderful-mails”.

I am back here again to ask you about others where i cooperate as a free member. Here is the list below:
    Graspaftertime.com
    Prosperousboom.com
    exceedmargin.com
    libertycash.biz
    comeongain.com
    mails2earn.net
    Thank you in advance

  8. I hope you didn’t waste too much of your time on these programs Sam, they’re all Get Rich Quick Scams.

They supposedly send $50 $100 or even $1000 emails, but the payment will never come. But if you look good on this site you will find some legit paid email programs. They don’t pay much though, but if you do a lot of them you could earn $25 - $50 per month, and more when you start to get the hang of it.

    good luck!

  9. Hello admin,
What about the websites “www.exceedmargin.com” as well as “www.comeongain.com”. Are they payout PTR sites or not? and are they scam sites?
The first one, that is http://www.exceedmargin.com is not showing in the list of scam PTR sites… I want to upgrade in that. Can I upgrade?
So, kindly give me the suggesstions is that site payout or not?
    Regards,
    David.

  10. Hello David,

Unfortunately there are so many scam sites out there that it is nearly impossible to list them all.

But yes, these sites are obvious scams. We can see that instantly because what they’re offering ($100 emails) is too good to be true.

Legit PTR Programs pay not more then 5 cent per email, and they have minimum payouts of around $1 to $5.

  11. Hi Admin,
My name is David, I want to earn money daily at least $100+. So, I request you plaese send me the paying sites, which are paid daily atleast $100 and above to e-gold or Liberty Reserve.
Please give them in a list.
I request you tell me about good daily paying sites and earn more money from those sites. What about http://www.6×6million.net/crt ($6 by Six Million - Makes It Possible!!)? Is it scam or good program? And Please tell me, the best paying websites in internet.

    Ragards,
    David

  12. Dear Sir,
I am very active free member but probably on scam sites like: pleasant.mails, best-mails, wow-mails, wonderful-mails etc.Am I right????
    Best regards

  13. I want to know whether prosperousboom.com is a scam or not? I also want to know about cash-hi.com.Please tell me
which is the best site to make money immediately.

  14. David, 6×6milion seems to be a randomizer. Such programs could work for some people who get in early, but only if you manage to get many other people to signup under you. And at some point people will loose money on this because the cycle cannot go on forever.

Radomir and Rison, yes you are both participating in scam sites. These sites promise hundreds or thousands of dollars for reading email, but they will never actually make payments.

Look around closely on this blog to find some legit PTR and PTC sites that do pay. You may not earn thousands of dollars, but at least $100 per month should be possible.

    Best of luck!

  15. Dear Sir,
Is it possible to make money per email?
Please send the legit programs to my account.
    Best Regards

  16. Or of course, you could see GPTBoycott.com (http://www.gptboycott.com), which has been boycotting scam get-paid sites for many years!

  17. Hi,

Can you tell me if this abov site is legit. They seem to be legit however, their claims on their website are ‘inaccurate’. They claim that they pay FREE members on reacing a limit of $1270. But once I reached this limit and requested payout (which they said they would make in 30 days). Its been over 2 and a half months and I havent seen any payment from them and they are asking me to update to a paid member ($150) before they can pay.

    Now thats misleading isnt it.

They are a ptc, ptsu and ptr site.

Thanx. Your opinion will be valued.

  18. sorry …the website is http://zachrie.com/myptr and I believe its operated by someone in malaysia.

  19. I have seen a lot of scam sites in this GPT industry over the years, mostly Paid-to-Read or Surf programs that never have the intention to payout even a single cent to their members.

But what the above mentioned site is doing is quite disturbing. They are actually trying to steal $150 from you! I hope you’re smart enough not to “upgrade your account” here.

    Withdrawn Total $6,220,160,409.00
They claim to have paid over 6 BILLION US Dollar !!!
    All Emails Worth $10,$50 & $100
    $50 Sign-up Bonus

I keep saying this over and over, but there is NO WAY any website pays this kind of money for Reading Email Surfing websites etc.

The most you will get for reading an email or clicking a link is 1 or 2 Cent. Don’t be surprised to find $0.001 (fraction of a cent)links in some PTR programs. But these are the programs that actually do pay you for your efforts. And if you click a lot, and maybe get some referrals in your downlines, it is realistic to make $100 or $200 per month, or even more depending on your success. But join only legit programs and always do your research on these sites before you spend your time or money. Best of Luck!

  22.
