What’s happening at getpaid-ptr.info

Dear friends,

It has been awhile since I’ve updated this site. Unfortunately I could not find the time to do much with the blog but since I decided to maintain this website and so I just finished with a new blog theme and the next couple of days I will update some post and remove dead programs etc.

Also, I had to decide to close down the user registration. As you may know until today, every visitor to this blog used to have the opportunity to register an account with editor privileges to freely promote GPT programs. But after some spam attacks I had to delete hundreds of gibberish posts waiting for my approval. Users who already have an account may continue to submit articles, but new users will have the default Subscriber role again. I wish to thank all users for their contributions, but the spam was taking too much bandwidth so I have to do something stop it. I am sure you understand.

As you may have noticed I have put up some new banners for GPT programs and changed the name of the blog. This is because after the years it seems that PTR is a bit dying. I tried to promote some programs but the referral commission is nothing from what it used to be, and many many programs are now too much based on PTP leading to much lower earnings per click. It seems most people in the industry have moved on to other GPT programs, mainly ‘paid to complete free offers’ sites that we used to call PTSU (Paid To Sign Up), and Paid To Click programs. I don’t like the PTC sites too much, as they seem to rely solely on upgrades, and tend to disappear when they stop receiving upgrades money. So I decided to join some of the free offers sites as they seem to work well for many people, especially USA members can earn $100+ per month from these.

I used to monetize this blog with bidvertiser and this generated around $20 monthly income from clicks on the ads, enough to maintain hosting and the domain name, but awhile ago they disabled my account and banned my sites. I was very disappointed in bidvertiser for this action because I had been a publisher for over 4 years, always had the ads on this site and got many payments, never a problem. Then suddenly Bang they canned me and without explaining what happened.

The site does have to have some income to cover the cost of maintainance so I guess now I’m back in business, GPT business that is. The sites I’ve joined so far are carefully selected. They are all online for at least 2 years and have a proven record of payments. I hate to see sites vanishing without a trace and without paying out account balances of members who spend their valuable time with the program completing offers and clicking links and banners and such. This happens way too often, and therefor I recommend to stick with sites that have been around for several years.

As always thank you for reading and I hope to see you back soon on this blog and feel free to leave your comments. If you haven’t already done so, you can subscribe to this blog with the news feed and receive the latest updates in your RSS news reader. http://getpaid-ptr.info/feed/
